Kaye studied acting with Wynn Handman in New York, as well as at the Neighborhood Playhouse. She’s performed in theatre, film and TV including “Cheers,” “Wings,” “General Hospital,” “Gilmore Girls,” “Alias,” and “Saturday Night Live.” Kaye has written and directed two award-winning short films and been a principal performer in over 100 commercials. In 2012, she created the urban garden web show “Late Bloomer,” about learning to grow food in her Los Angeles front yard, Best Reality Series winner at Vancouver Web Fest 2017, with 100 episodes in 5 seasons plus her ongoing garden vlog of 300 videos. With Classical Theatre Lab, Kaye played Ustinya in “A Family Affair” in a summer in the park production, as well as numerous staged readings including Pinter’s “Celebration” directed by Chris Cappiello and “Sweet William” directed by Rod Menzies. In 2018, Kaye played Ima in “The Immigrant” at the Sierra Madre Playhouse directed by Simon Levy. She’s currently taking comedy improv at United Citizens Brigade (UCB) in Hollywood.
